Scheduler definition
Stores the recurring instructions behind the work.
Preventive maintenance & scheduler
REQQER’s Scheduler defines recurring preventive maintenance, inspections, testing, and other operational responsibilities. Each occurrence becomes its own Scheduled Task Req with a Due Date, assignment, Activity, forms, documents, and completion history.
The recurring definition stays in place while every generated occurrence remains separately trackable.

Recurring definition → individual work
The Scheduler is the persistent recurring definition. When an occurrence becomes eligible, REQQER creates an individual Scheduled Task Req for staff to perform and document.
Stores the recurring instructions behind the work.
Becomes one accountable Req in the daily work process.
The two dates that matter
Next Date is the Due Date of the next occurrence. Prior Days Notice controls how early REQQER creates that Scheduled Task so staff can schedule the work, coordinate a vendor, or gather documentation before the deadline.
REQQER advances the Scheduler’s Next Date when the occurrence is generated. An overdue occurrence can remain Open while the recurring program continues to produce future required work.
Define the work and the schedule
The task definition combines what should be done with when it should happen.

The Scheduler Console shows current recurring definitions with their Item, assignment, Req Type, frequency, Next Date, and other indicators.
Workload planning
The Scheduled Tasks Calendar can show future placeholders for recurring work that has not yet generated, helping Maintenance Directors balance current and upcoming responsibilities across the team.

Build documentation into the program
Attach a configured inspection or checklist so each generated occurrence carries the same structured process.
Carry instructions or documents forward and require a supporting upload before closure when appropriate.
Define Internal Assignee and External Vendor context so future occurrences enter the work process with responsibility already established.
Mark important recurring definitions for inclusion in organized Log Book evidence packages.
Identify selected regulatory work for the monthly Administrator review workflow.
Open or overdue work remains visible while the recurring schedule continues into future required occurrences.
