Multi-department operations

One platform for facility operations without forcing every department into the same workflow.

Maintenance may be the operational center, but facility work does not stop there. REQQER can organize work across Maintenance, Housekeeping, Dietary, Purchasing, and other departments while keeping tasks, assignments, schedules, and day-to-day views focused around the people responsible.

Teams can stay focused on the work relevant to them while facility and regional leadership retain broader operational visibility.

The operating problem

Different teams need focus. Management still needs one accountable record.

01

Work hides in separate channels

Requests, checklists, spreadsheets, email, and paper logs can create different tracking habits for different departments.

02

Priorities become inconsistent

Without a common Req lifecycle, status, responsibility, Due Dates, and follow-up can mean different things across teams.

03

Walkthrough findings get transcribed later

Issues discovered across rooms or Locations are easy to lose when staff first write them down and enter them later.

04

Management sees fragments

Facility and regional leaders have to combine separate records to understand the operational picture.

A common operating vocabulary

Let departments differ in the work they do—not in whether the work is accountable.

Across departments, REQQER can use the same core record structure while allowing appropriate Req Types, fields, defaults, views, and workflows to vary.

Req TypeWhat kind of work?
PriorityHow urgent?
Due DateWhen is it expected?
AssignmentWho owns follow-up?
ActivityWhat happened?
StatusWhat still needs action?

Walkthroughs and inspections

Enter issues where they are found instead of building a paper list first.

Mobile Batch Entry is especially useful during a building walkthrough. Staff choose an Area, move through its Locations, enter one or more issues, and select the appropriate Req Type for each issue. Every nonblank issue becomes its own Work Order.

  • One or more issues can be entered for the same Location
  • Each issue can use a different Req Type
  • The captured example visibly spans Safety, Housekeeping, and Routine Maintenance
  • Desktop Batch Entry remains useful with a laptop or for later transcription

REQQER Requests Console

One operational center

Bring department work into the same accountable process.

The Requests Console provides one central working list for Reqs while views, filters, Department, Req Type, assignment, and other criteria help users narrow the list around the work that matters to them.

  • One-time Work Orders and Scheduled Tasks remain distinguishable
  • Department and Req Type help organize operational work
  • Internal Assignee identifies responsibility for the specific Req
  • Grids and reporting can summarize the workload without replacing the underlying Req detail

Capabilities behind the solution

Give each team useful tools without creating a separate system for every department.

Map your departments

A demonstration can focus on the departments you manage today, how requests enter each workflow, and what facility or regional leadership needs to see across them.
