Inspection & corrective-action workflows

Turn an inspection finding into accountable follow-up.

REQQER keeps the inspection, structured form response, originating Req, and corrective work connected. When a configured response identifies a problem, a separately trackable corrective child Req can carry the issue forward to resolution.

The inspection can be completed while the corrective child Req remains Open, so documenting the inspection does not make the identified problem disappear.

One connected workflow

The form is part of the work—not a document filed afterward.

InspectComplete the Scheduled Task or one-time electronic form.
IdentifyStructured responses capture the condition, reading, answer, or deficiency.
CorrectCreate a linked corrective child Req when follow-up work is required.
Two records, two purposes.

The parent Req proves the inspection occurred and preserves its responses. The corrective child Req tracks the separate responsibility created by the finding.

Why the separation matters

Do not force the inspection and the repair into the same status.

01

Complete the inspection

The inspection record can be finished when the inspection itself is complete.

02

Keep the issue Open

The corrective child Req can remain Open until the separate repair, replacement, or other action is resolved.

03

Preserve the cause

The child remains linked to the form response and originating Req that identified the issue.

04

Review follow-through

Management can see the original inspection and the corrective work without reconstructing their relationship later.

Structured electronic forms

Capture more than a checkbox.

Forms can include required responses, readings, text, dates, dropdowns, acknowledgements, and other configured fields. The point is to capture usable operational information while the person is performing the work.

  • Required responses can help prevent incomplete form submission
  • Different response types can fit different inspection questions
  • Configured problem responses can select corrective follow-up automatically
  • Users can also identify corrective action manually when appropriate
  • Supporting documentation can remain attached to the Req

Corrective follow-up

Carry the exact finding into the work that fixes it.

The corrective child Req can include context from the question and response that triggered it, making the follow-up easier to understand and reducing the chance that the corrective work becomes an unexplained standalone request.

  • Separately track status, assignment, Activity, and completion
  • Keep a link back to the originating Req
  • Allow the parent inspection and corrective work to have different lifecycles
  • Surface corrective follow-up during compliance review when applicable

Capabilities behind the solution

Inspection accountability connects several REQQER capabilities.

Follow one finding end to end

See an inspection create its own corrective trail.

A demonstration can show the form response, parent Req, corrective child Req, assignment, Activity, documents, and management review as one connected sequence.
